Moon Observation on 9/20

This observation was made on 9/20. The moon is still in the waxing phase. It looks like the moon will be a half moon in the next couple of days.

Moon Observation on 9/19

I observed the moon on 9/19. The moon was very beautiful tonight. The moon was in a waxing phase. Even though the moon was in a slight crescent shape, you could see the sun reflecting around the edges of the whole moon.

Observation on 8/19/12

Today, I still could not locate the moon. I searched for it approximately at 8:15 p.m. The sky was more clear tonight than yesterday, and I was able to see a couple bright objects that were either stars or planets. If I could seen the moon, it would still be in a thin crescent.

Observation on 8/18/12

Today was really cloudy, so I could not locate the actual moon. Below is the picture I captured of the sky. The only thing I could see was a dark black sky with some illuminations coming through in some locations. If I could have seen the moon, it should have been a very small start of a crescent.
